Concealers can be like a relationship, one minute you’re in total bliss but it ends on a sour note.
At first, you are in love with how it makes you look, how it hides all of your bad qualities and only brings out the best. But just when you think you’ve found the one, it turns on you: Slipping, creasing, or fading, and letting everyone know that things aren’t as perfect as it started out in the beginning.
To avoid this love - hate relationship, try one of my favorites.
Bobby Brown Stick Concealer: I initially tried this because I over heard a celebrity make-up artist singing its praise. Its thin, bone-dry consistency prevents it from creasing, but it is creamy and will stay put longer than most concealers. Also, its lipstick-like applicator makes it easy to swipe on.
Dermablend Concealer: This concealer provides a high coverage without a masky look or feel. It has twice the pigment than regular concealer and it is great for covering up major scars, discoloration, blemishes and dark under eye circles.
Laura Mercier Secret Camouflage: I've never met a makeup artist who didn't love this stuff, and here's why: It's dry, so it doesn't crease or run after a few hours. Also, it is thicker, so you can use it for big jobs, like covering a massive breakout. Oh, and because it has two shades, you can dabble between the two until you reach the perfect color.
Maybelline New York Cover Stick: This concealer is perfect for dry skin, because it's ultra-creamy. I like wearing this in the winter when my skin tends to be direr. Nothing looks worst then dried concealer settling on your winter-worn complexion.
Keeping you looking your best....
